American Babylon looks at the violent events in Charlottesville, Virginia in which protester Heather Heyer was murdered by a white supremacist and scores of people were seriously injured. We pay special attention to the highly controversial response of President Donald Trump and the role of history in fueling racism and white supremacy in America. 

Jefferson Davis Memorial after it was destroyed on August 17th, 2017

We take a trip to some of the various Confederate monuments in Arizona including the Jefferson Davis Memorial which was destroyed during the editing process of this video. The memorial outside the Arizona State Capitol building was also defaced.
